Well, I'm heading back to Bangkok today and then back to korea in the morning. I'm kinda looking forward to getting back to our normal comfy apartment and the kids, but it has been good to get away. I'm not sure quite what I was thinking when I booked my flight back to Bangkok for 2 something. Maybe I was thinking I could get a little more sun. Anyhow...it's raining here and only around 10am. I'm not quite sure what I'm gonna do for another 3 hours. Maybe I'll read some, but it's more than likely that I'll just be a little bored for some fo that time. I've been staying in a little bungalow for the last 4 days. It's fine, other than on a day today, when it would be nice to have television. Anyhow...I think I'll probably be sitting in my hotel room in Bangkok tonight watching tv. It's a little too crazy out on Kao Sahn road for me. I may have to step out for a little while though to buy a small bag. Something tells me that when I get back and pick up the bag I've had in storage, that not everything will fit nicely into my big and small backpacks I have now. I didn't buy quite as much stuff here on the island, and I still managed to nearly fill up both bags. I should be fine with one more small bag though. I think I can check 2 bags, instead of just the one like I did before.
What should be funny is when I get home and then to school the next day. I don't think the korean teachers have ever seen me this tan. I jokingly left school my last day before coming here, and told Agnes I'd come back relaxed and brown. I haven't been this tan since living in the Philippines. It shouldn't surprise Clinton too much. I'm sure Nora will probably be a little though. She was when I came back with just a mild tan from the states. What should be funniest though is seeing the kids and teachers' reactions. Yes.....us white folk do look better darker, much the opposite of most of them....
